Another Dream

Lying on the soft, green grass,
beneath the sky, so blue,
with the gentle breeze blowing,
I sleep and dream of you.

I feel your arms around me,
your soft lips on my cheek,
and finally, I'm truly happy,
for love, I no longer seek.

The sun is shining brightly,
there's not a cloud in sight.
followed by a sky full of stars,
when the day turns into night.

And there you are, still with me,
when I finally realize,
that I truly am in love with you,
as I gaze into your deep brown eyes.

So, finally, as I wake up,
I'm still thinking of you,
and I realize that what I just dreamt,
was a dream that will never come true...
